In plain terms. You buy a licence once, and you keep it. You can install it on up to two Macs that you use. You may not resell it or give it away. If it doesn't work for you, ask for your money back within 14 days.
The QUAY plugins are made and licensed by Elia Gagliotta, trading as QUAY, Zurich, Switzerland (see the Imprint for contact details).
The purchase itself is processed by a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record. That provider is your contractual counterparty for the payment: it charges you, applies any VAT or sales tax due in your country, and issues your invoice. The provider is identified at checkout and on your receipt. The licence to use the software, and the support behind it, come from QUAY under these terms.
A perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the QUAY plugin you purchased. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Nothing recurs and nothing expires — if you stop paying attention to us entirely, your software keeps working.
One licence covers installation on up to two Macs that you personally use — typically a desktop and a laptop. It is for one person; it isn't a floating licence to be shared across a team.
If you change machines, deactivate the old one or email us and we'll free the slot. Studio and team licences are available — write to support@quayfleet.com.
When an update period ends, your software doesn't stop working — you simply stop receiving new versions unless you renew. There is no obligation to renew.
If you own a single plugin and later want the Fleet, we credit what you already paid against the bundle price. Email us from the address your licence is registered to and we'll arrange it.
Work you produce using QUAY is entirely yours. We claim no rights over your projects, your footage or your output, commercial or otherwise.
QUAY plugins require Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 or newer on macOS, and run natively on Apple Silicon. Windows is not currently supported.
Adobe changes the extension platform from time to time. We aim to keep the plugins working across supported Premiere versions, but we can't guarantee that a future Adobe release won't break something, nor how quickly a fix will follow.
Delivery is electronic and normally immediate: your licence key and download link arrive by email once payment clears. If nothing arrives within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then email us — we will always sort it out.
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. The details, and how to ask, are on the Refund Policy page, which forms part of these terms.
Support is provided by email at support@quayfleet.com. QUAY is run by one person, so replies are usually within a couple of working days rather than instantly. Fleet customers are answered first.
The software is provided as it is. We warrant that it will perform substantially as described on this site, and if it doesn't, your remedies are a fix or a refund. Beyond that, and to the extent Swiss law permits, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost work, lost time, lost revenue or damaged projects.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the licence.
Keep backups of your projects. That's ordinary good practice with any editing tool, ours included.
Your licence ends if you materially breach these terms — principally by redistributing the software or circumventing its licensing. We'd contact you first in any realistic case.
We may revise these terms for future purchases. The version that applies to you is the one published when you bought, and we keep a dated copy. Changes are never applied retroactively to a licence you already own.
Swiss law governs these terms, and the place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.
If you're buying as a consumer, this doesn't deprive you of the protections of mandatory law in your country of residence, including any statutory right of withdrawal.
